Sore Back

It's gonna be a rough day tomorrow and probably a sore one! I finally got ONE closet changed to summer clothes and must have gone up and down the steps 100 times (well, it felt like it). Then I planted in my garden and planted my "upside down" garden, THEN cut the grass. Came in and took a quick shower and made a wonderful Salmon Salad, frest corn on the cob and bread. I was so tired I just watched American Idol (who the hell is NOT voting for Adam that he ended up in the bottom two) - get with it people I will never watch it again if he doesn't win! Sorry about the rant but it's a SINGING contest and he's the best! I knitted while I watched TV and thinking about everything I still have to do. The girls need a bath, I have grey roots, gotta pack for Columbus, gotta pack art stuff to paint in Columbus, do laundry, oh Hell, I'm going to go play Scrabble then read myselft to sleep. It does feel so good to Play in the Dirt. I love, love, love my garden and it's all the "house" stuff that I don't like to do. But boy, when I take that first bite out of a home grown tomato it will all be worth it!! Happy Gardening

Best of my Day: Getting dirt under my nails!

I am so jealous that you can grow a garden. I have flowers now but as you know, it won't be long before the heat kills everything. I thought about trying one of those topsy turvy tomato things, maybe I could take it inside for the worst part of the day, hummmmmmmmm. Sad becuase we have 1/3 of an acre and that could grow a lot of food

Try the tomato thing - I used pots and cut my own holes in them - I'll send you a picture. As long as you keep it watered it should be OK....

Whew. Up and down those steps of yours all day? You deserve to sit down and knit!

I hope you are not wearing those red shoes to garden...but then again, they may chase the bugs away! They look great on your feet.
